WESTINSURE
Humbergrove Insurance is a member of the Westinsure Broker Alliance and we are proud to be the first members in Hertfordshire.
Westinsure, based in the south west of England, was formed in the year 2000 by five Insurance Brokers. Over the years, other Insurance Brokers have decided to take advantage of their facilities and the Westinsure Alliance now extends through England, Scotland and Wales. Westinsure is made up of Independent Insurance Brokers who have established reputations for high levels of customer service within their own local community. As at 8th November 2007, Westinsure have over 100 broking members, transacting in excess of £200m of General Insurance business premiums.
Market rationalisation has meant that size has become more important within the insurance industry. The perceived volume created by the Westinsure Broker Alliance has allowed Westinsure to approach Insurers on behalf of all member Brokers, instead of individual Brokers negotiating their own separate agreements.
Our agreement with Westinsure has allowed us at Humbergrove Insurance to retain our independence, whilst benefiting from significantly improved purchasing power and added protection within the insurance market.
